Join us for the local premiere of Gabrielle Burton’s Kings, Queens, & In-Betweens, a celebratory look at the Midwest’s epicenter of drag culture—Columbus! Filled with all of the laughs, music, and day-glo wigs one might expect, Kings also provides a thoughtful exploration of identity and expression through the lens of drag kings, queens, and transgender performers. Based in Columbus, Burton is best known for her 2002 film Manna from Heaven. (video, 90 mins.)

Director Gabrielle Burton and performers featured in the film will be on hand 6–7 PM in the center’s lower lobby for a reception with cash bar and complimentary light snacks.
