Stonewall Columbus offers Pride Parade Mini-Grants for grassroots activists and advocates. Grants are open to any non-profit organizations or individuals with an annual operating budget of under $5,000 that wish to get involved in the Parade but cannot afford to pay some or all of the Parade registration fees. Businesses, political candidates and ballot measures are not eligible to apply. Maximum grant will not exceed $160. Please review the Parade Participant Pricing List below to determine your entry type and their associated fees to determine how much money you will need to request in your grant application. The grant amount will not exceed the cost of the parade registration fee and no funds in excess of the registration fee will be given.
Applicants must submit their proposals no later than Monday, April 20th at 5PM. Grants will be announced and awarded to qualifying participants on or before Monday, April 24th based on availability. Stonewall Columbus is able to subsidize up to 10 organizations in the Parade so grants will be given on a limited basis.
Example: Application for vehicle entry can request $160 grant with the remaining $25 due for the application.
